How much weight can my MeDesk 2.0 hold?
Your MeDesk 2.0 can comfortably hold up to 300 lbs. of stuff.
What is the height range of MeDesk 2.0?
The MeDesk 2.0 has a range of 27.9” to 47.7”. This is designed to fit the needs of 95% of the population. If you think you need an ergonomic desk that goes lower or higher than this, Contact Us.
What are MeDesk 2.0 desktops made of?
The MeDesk 2.0 desktop is made from environmentally friendly MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) 3D laminated with RTF (rigid thermofoil), which is membrane pressed to both the top and the bottom of the board. This process allows us to wrap the laminate around the entire curved standing desk, creating the infinity edge, and giving the desk its distinctive, lightweight look and feel.
What is the size of the two grommet openings?
Our metal grommets have an interior dimension of 2-1/4”. The removable cover has a generous slot in it that should allow plenty of room to feed all the cords you’ll need down through the openings.
How does the MeDesk 2.0 manage cord clutter?
We pre-wire and mount all the adjustable height components to the underside of the desktop at our facility. Additionally, the MeDesk 2.0 comes equipped with a pre-mounted surge protector power strip that has six available 110 outlets and three USB charging ports, with a 10’ power cord. Only one cord needs to run out from under the desktop and to your wall outlet.
Can I re-route the power cord and/or the paddle switch from the right side to the left side?
Yes, that is an easy change. Please download the MeDesk 2.0 Assembly Instructions and User Manual and see “Moving the Switch and/or the AC Power Cord” section.
Does the Linak height control paddle switch have presets?
Yes, there are 4 presets. Please download our Quick Start Guide for instructions.
What is collision detection?
Your MeDesk 2.0 comes equipped with an awesome feature - the Linak Desk Sensor 1. This smart safety device is plugged into the control box underneath your desktop. If you accidentally adjust your desk height into either a hard or soft object, it stops the motor and backs the desk a few inches away and awaits further instructions.
Can I add a monitor arm to my MeDesk 2.0?
Yes. MeDesk 2.0 without modesty panels will accommodate many clamp mounts, such as Workrite's Conform. Or, if you prefer a side placement, one of the existing grommet holes will accommodate your bolt-through monitor mount.
MeDesk 2.0 with modesty panels will accommodate a bolt-through monitor mount. Two easy-to-find, under-desk starter holes, located near each cable grommet hole, provides comfortable monitor positioning and tidy cable routing. Before drilling any holes, make sure your monitor arm can reach your desired position.
How can I clean and disinfect my MeDesk 2.0?
Your MeDesk 2.0 can be cleaned using any multi-purpose household cleaners. Usually just soap and water will suffice. Avoid harsh chemicals (ammonia, bleach, etc.), and abrasive cleaners or pads.
Shipping, Delivery, Returns
Does MeDesk 2.0 offer free shipping?
Yes. The cost of shipping and White Glove Delivery to most locations in the continental United States is included in the price of your ergonomic desk. If you are located off the beaten path, in an Isolated Delivery Area, added shipping surcharges will apply.
Do I have to assemble my MeDesk 2.0?
No, our White Glove Delivery team assembles and delivers it for you.
Where is MeDesk 2.0 made and where does it ship from?
Your MeDesk 2.0 is designed by us in Sausalito, California and made of parts manufactured in the U.S.A. We’ve been here since 1974 and your desk will ship directly from our facility to your home or office.
How long does shipping take?
You can expect it to take from 5-20 business days to deliver once it is shipped (on the lower end of the range are shipments to the West Coast, towards the higher end are shipments to the East Coast and off-the-beaten-path locations). Once your order has been shipped out, you will be notified of how long your desk will take to reach our White Glove Delivery Terminal. Once they receive your desk, they will reach out to you within 24-48 hours to schedule your delivery appointment.
What is an isolated delivery area?
Isolated White Glove Delivery Areas represent about 5% of the population in the Continental U.S. Delivery locations will be screened by ZIP code at check-out. If you are off the beaten path and in one of those areas, you will be alerted and asked to contact us to discuss your specific logistic requirements prior to completing your check-out. We will let you know if any surcharges need to be added to your order.
How is the MeDesk 2.0 shipped?
We pre-wire all MeDesk 2.0s at our facility in Sausalito, CA and then
securely flat pack it in a box and ship it via Common Carrier (LTL) to
your White Glove Delivery Terminal who will assemble it and deliver it
to you.
Can I get expedited shipping?
Our White Glove Service provider does not currently offer expedited shipping.
What if I don't want White Glove Service?
MeDesk 2.0 ships White Glove Service only. White Glove Service includes:
✔ MeDesk 2.0 fully assembled and tested prior to delivery.
✔ Delivery appointment made prior to delivery.
✔ MeDesk 2.0 delivered inside to your room of choice.
✔ Final check for any loose connections created during transit and plugged in for you.
✔ Verification that the Paddle Switch is initialized and ready.
✔ Packing materials removed and discarded for you.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship via our White Glove Service to the continental United States through this website. If you would like us to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada, please Contact Us and we will be happy to assist you. We do not currently ship outside of the U.S and Canada.
How long does it take to set up my MeDesk 2.0?
Your MeDesk 2.0 is delivered pre-assembled by our White Glove Partner. Please download our Quick Start Guide
for easy information on programming your Paddle Switch. Disassembly and assembly are a snap if you have to disassemble and reassemble it in the future. Please allow up to 30 minutes for either process.

Can I exchange my MeDesk 2.0?
We do not make exchanges. After you initiate our hassle-free white glove return within 60 days of receiving your MeDesk 2.0, and the original item is returned to our warehouse, we will issue a refund for the original item. You can purchase the new product right away, or you can choose to wait for the refund from the first purchase.
